About my practice

I believe everyone should have access to affordable, quality healthcare which is why I started OroszMD. Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, my practice is dedicated to bringing high quality healthcare to the individuals and employers of our community.

My mission is to provide the personalized healthcare that everyone deserves.

As a board-certified internal medicine physician, I have the skills and resources to take care of your health needs.  With direct primary care, as a patient you pay your doctor directly just like you pay a gym membership. Go beyond the limitations of the insurance-driven world and pay for care directly; insurance should not dictate how we provide care.

Meet Dr. Nadia J. Orosz

Welcome to my practice, it's an honor and a privilege to be able to take care of you.  For a little bit of background, I grew up outside of Buffalo, NY on 45 acres of land in a rural community.  I always envisioned myself becoming a "country doc" and forming strong bonds with my patients.  Fast forward several years later and I find myself in the heart of Silicon Valley where my husband pursues his passions for machine learning and all things tech.  Initially, my thoughts of manifesting a strong and long term bond with my patients seemed far away as I worked as a hospitalist at UCSF in San Francisco and then at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View.  As a hospitalist, you take care of medically complex patients and serve them throughout their hospital stay but do not continue to care for them after they leave the hospital.  My wish to create a long lasting partnership with patients left me feeling only partially satisfied.

When I found out about direct primary care, I was both excited and skeptical.  Could I build a practice that prides itself on taking the time to really get to know a patient as a whole person?  Could I create an environment that protects the doctor-patient relationship, giving us time to create personalized treatment plans, iron out health related goals, and talk about the things that really matter?

My skepticism was soon thrown out the window.  Shortly after starting my outpatient practice, I performed a home visit on a medically complex patient traveling to the Bay Area from India.  We chatted about recent symptoms and created a framework of how to address pressing concerns.  More importantly, I felt like I was getting to know my patient as a person on their terms.  We dedicated an hour to our initial visit and I left feeling like I had cheated the system in a way.  I was able to use my analytic/internal medicine skill set while creating a partnership with my patient rooted in trust and understanding.  This was the way I had always envisioned practicing medicine.

Now with the benefit of time and continued experiences like this, I can confidently say that direct primary care is the framework that allows me to practice medicine in the most comprehensive way possible.  I feel like I am practicing true "old school medicine" the way that most doctors wish they could, and the way that patients need and deserve, but with the added benefit of modern technology platforms.  I invite you to see for yourself what's possible regarding your health care journey and I am excited to be your ally.
